Our Humble Beginnings
IGF was founded by Maurizio DiBenigno in 1987. A life-long passion for quality products, fine tasting foods, and a wealth of experience in the food service industry inspired the principles on which Maurizio has built this company. His commitment to the needs and desires of his clients and his determination to source products of quality and value built the reputation of IGF as one of the premier gourmet food import and distribution companies in the industry. From its conception, IGF was and still is a family-owned and operated business founded on solid values and guiding principles that we continue to grow and develop.
In December of 2019, Christine DiBenigno became president of IGF after 19 years of experience in the company. She and Maurizio continue to expand the company vision of not only quality food and excellent service, but also growing and enriching a diverse employee base.

International Gourmet Foods services restaurants, gourmet markets, clubs, caterers, bakeries, country clubs, breweries, wineries, and hotels throughout our delivery region and via common carrier. We have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality food products with the highest quality service level in the industry. This is why our customers, some of the finest chefs in the world, keep coming back to us.
Where We Service
IGF currently services the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest United States with our all-temperature trucks. We service the rest of the country via common carrier, UPS, and Fed-Ex.
Woodbridge, VA
On March 29th, 2022, IGF broke ground on a new state-of-the-art facility in Woodbridge, Virginia. This new central headquarters opened in April 2024.
Springfield, VA
Where it all began in 1987, and the original home to IGF’s headquarters until January 2024.
Charleston, SC
Our Southeast distribution center is located in the culinary heart of the low country: Charleston, South Carolina. This area continues to grow in the gastronomic scene in America and IGF is proud to serve this growth! Our staff has been selected right out of some of the best restaurants, bakeries, and food service businesses in the area. Our delivery areas include all local Charleston areas, Myrtle Beach, Beaufort, Hilton Head, Columbia, Greenville, SC, and Savannah, GA.
Atlanta, GA
We are proud to continue to support the Greater Atlanta food scene at our Atlanta distribution center and warehouse. Our warehouse is located close to all major highways as well as Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Our delivery areas include all local Atlanta areas, Macon, Athens, Chattanooga, TN, and now Birmingham, AL.
Chicago, IL
Our newest warehouse is located just outside of downtown Chicago, minutes from O’Hare International Airport. This ideal location allows us to now service the Chicagoland area by refrigerated trucks Monday to Friday.
